The place where cars are sold (whether sports cars, off-road vehicles or luxury limousines), of course, has very specific demands on floors and surfaces. The combination of these demands with the requirements for representative design is a special discipline with which we have many years of experience and we always welcome it as an impulse to push our limits.
It was clear that we had to take the floor covering in Auta Super somehow "differently" - the key in this case was the traditional material in non-traditional use. Expona vinyl floors have been used in several designs - natural oak, stone tiles and aluminum sheets. The installation of the floors concerned not only offices and facilities, but also the car showroom itself and other frequented areas.
60 m2 of vinyl were glued to the walls, specifically the design of wooden tiles.
The big challenge was the staircase - it was necessary to install vinyl parts on the prefabricated concrete stairs, which was not easy at all with bevelled stair edges. In the end, however, we came up with a solution with special metal strips that perfectly fulfilled its purpose to our and the customer's satisfaction.
