The Global Champions Prague PlayOffs sporting event is the culmination of the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour (individuals) and Global Champions League (teams) show jumping competition. It is an event of world importance, where the best of this popular equestrian discipline will meet. Among them is also the Czech team Prague Lions, whose face is well-known rider Anna Kellnerová.
The spaces, the design of which is made by Venclovský architekti and we have been involved in with the floor coverings for the third year, mainly represent facilities, restaurants and relaxation zones for riders and their teams.
Royal red instead of emerald green
While last year the floors were characterized by emerald green carpets, this year the architects from the studio Venclovský architekti decided for a change and chose a color in a shade called royal red. This very fundamentally influenced the character of the entire interior - the festive mood of the entire space is the dominant element, together with the perfect coordination of the selected furniture, covers, tablecloths, flower decorations, etc.
The Ultimate Twist cut pile tufted carpet has a sufficient load rating (33 - heavy duty in commercial areas) to withstand the increased traffic of this competition. We installed it in 5-meter rolls, on the outer edges of the entire area the carpet was equipped with a black aluminum strip.
Sweet-shop for champions
In the relax zone, where sweets and coffee or tea are offered to the champions, a green Timeless Twister Melange carpet was used as a floor covering - a one-time event fabric from a special collection of floor coverings suitable for similar events.
In total, 625 m2 of contract carpets were installed at the Prague PlayOffs 2022 event.
