The reconstruction of the Prague apartment for the needs of a young family was carried out under the direction of the architect Klára Valová from the SMLXL studio – and thanks to her concept, the entire interior gradually acquired the desired industrial touch.
Thanks to the muted colours and simple lines, the space has also been significantly aerated.
Just two materials
The floors on which BOCA collaborated on this project are made up of only two materials: wood and cement screed. In order to maintain the required style as much as possible, we chose a cement screed for these areas, which not only excels in its distinctive concrete appearance, but also in its strength and long service life.
Thanks to the high proportion of manual work when applying the screed, the resulting screed floor is again an original creation.

Muted colours
The colour of the interiors ranges from white through grey to brown and black, so the choice of screed fell on a light grey shade called Bianco. The final surface of the floor screed was chosen as smooth, there was no need to solve the anti-slip.
