About the Objectflor company
A company based in Cologne, Germany, which has existed since 1989 and has expanded significantly over time to become one of the most important players in the field of vinyl flooring. It is currently a subsidiary of the British company James Halstead Flooring. Its advantages include, in addition to quality products, comprehensive know-how (including long-term cooperation with all business partners and intensive dialogue with end customers) or very fast deliveries of material (thanks to a modern central warehouse). At the same time, the Karndean brand with its own lines of vinyl floor coverings falls under the wings of this company.
The company’s assortment
Objectflor vinyl flooring includes a very diverse range – homogeneous and heterogeneous types are available, suitable for apartments, commercial and industrial premises, with special surface treatments, in a variety of colours and patterns, and feasible with various types of installation. Under the Expona, Expona SimpLay, Polyflor and Polysafe brands, there are individual collections focused not only on use in homes and offices, but also in areas with special requirements subject to strict standards.
- EXPONA: This range includes heterogeneous vinyl floors in a comprehensive range of décors and is the most extensive and best-selling collection from this supplier. Floor coverings from this series have a tread layer with a thickness of 0.4 to 0.7 mm and are, therefore, suitable for residential, commercial and industrial premises.
- EXPONA SIMPLAY: This is a completely innovative collection, which is simply installed by placing it on a base or on a fixation, it does not stick or click into itself. The perfect adhesion to the surface is guaranteed by the weight of the vinyl parts and a special backing. Thanks to the tread layer thickness of 0.7 mm, SimpLay floors are also suitable for high traffic areas with a high degree of operation.
- POLYFLOR: This collection includes homogeneous vinyl coverings suitable for spaces with special requirements subject to standards. These are conductive and slip-resistant (they have their own line called POLYSAFE) floors, which Objectflor not only offers with wood and stone design, but also in pastel or distinctive colours, with marbling or flocking.
Environmental policy
Objectflor also ensures that all its activities comply with the principles of sustainability of natural resources and that all flooring materials are 100% recyclable. The company also has all its floor coverings tested regularly to meet all European standards for building materials used indoors and outdoors. Therefore, for example, the plasticisers used in the production of vinyl can only be natural with Objectflor.
